Welcome to the KSA School Community; 

It is with great pleasure that I write to welcome you and your student(s) to the 2017.2018 school year at the Kindergarten Success Academy (KSA).  Your child’s teacher assignment for the school year has been noted above.


The first day of school for students will begin on Wednesday, September 6th and it will be a full day.  The school day begins at 8:45 a.m. and runs until 2:45 p.m.  All students should be dropped off and picked up on the parking lot side of the building where their assigned teachers will accompany them to class and assist with parent pickup for the 1st week of school.

Please be reminded that the school uniform is as follows: Policy 5511

Boys Girls Yellow shirts (short or long sleeved) Yellow shirts/ blouses (long or short sleeved)

  Blue pants or shorts Navy Blue Pants/ Skirts/ Shorts or jumpers.

Shoes or sneakers

Optional for boys and girls: Navy blue sweaters or vests

Jeans are not considered to be a part of the uniform at any time

On gym days, students must wear sneakers, sweat or warm-up pants, sweat shirts 

or warm-up tops in navy blue or yellow.


The Before the Bell Tutorial Program will begin Monday, September 18, 2017. The Before the Bell Program is limited to 60 students. A permission slip will be sent home with every student to sign up for the program the first week of school.

The After the Bell Program is a Title I funded program for students requiring academic assistance. This program begins October 10, 2017 through May 10, 2018, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Identified students will be given permission slips for this program.

The Boys and Girls Club Program has partnered with us to offer an after school program from 2:45-6pm daily. However, there is a fee for the Boys and Girls Club (See information attached).


Grab and Go Breakfast will be available daily beginning on the 1st day of school.

Beginning at 8:05 am to 8:25a.m. (Students must pay for breakfast pending lunch application approval process)
